Councilman Cedric Crear To Host Ward 5 Community Forum
Event Will Include Resource And Information Fair
Las Vegas Councilman Cedric Crear will host a Ward 5 Community Forum Thursday, Oct. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Las Vegas City Hall Council Chambers, 495 S. Main St. The event is free and open to the public.
The community is invited to join Councilman Crear to discuss community issues, hear presentations from city staff and participate in a resource and information fair.
“This is a great opportunity for Ward 5 residents to connect with me so that I can hear concerns and issues they need addressed in our neighborhoods,” Councilman Crear said. “In addition, we will be providing a lot of valuable information and updates on the Ward 5 strategic priorities.”
Topics will include, neighborhood services, infrastructure and road projects, public safety, economic and community development, homeless services, parks, and cultural affairs.
The forum begins with the resources and information fair at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., presentations with Councilman Crear and city staff are scheduled to begin, and time permitting, there will be a question-and-answer session.
