LAS VEGAS — Parents looking for safe, supervised, and affordable child care options when schools are closed this fall can now register their children for the city of Las Vegas’ No-School Fun Days. The program offers youth in kindergarten through eighth grade an entire day of structured fun, recreation, and enrichment at community centers across the valley.
The City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Department will host the all-day programs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during scheduled Clark County School District (CCSD) staff development days and select holiday breaks. Each session includes games, arts and crafts, group activities, sports, and opportunities for social interaction in a safe and supervised environment.
Fall 2025 No-School Fun Days

The following No-School Fun Days are planned for fall 2025, though dates remain subject to change if CCSD adjusts its calendar:
- Monday, Sept. 15
- Friday, Oct. 17
- Monday, Oct. 20 (elementary schools only)
- Wednesday, Nov. 26
The initiative is designed to support families who may struggle to find reliable child care when schools close for staff training or short breaks. According to city officials, space is limited at each location, and advance registration is required.
