Las Vegas City Council To Recognize Nevada Consular Corps
Employee Of The Month Also To Be Recognized
The Las Vegas City Council will recognize the Nevada Consular Corps at the April 19 City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 a.m. Redevelopment Agency meeting in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 495 S. Main St.
Councilwoman Victoria Seaman is scheduled to recognize the nonprofit Consular Corps of Nevada, an organization that provides support and resources to the consulates located in the state. The organization was established in 1998 and supports the consulates and embassies located in Nevada in providing government services. The organization is made up of volunteers who are accredited by the United States Department of State. There are some 20 foreign consulates in Las Vegas alone.
In addition, the City Council will also recognize the April 2023 Employee of the Month.
The meeting will be broadcast live on KCLV-TV Channel 2, the city’s government access television station, and at www.kclv.tv/live.
Public comment will be available for items on the agenda until 5 p.m. April 18 at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/councilcomment.
